Walk as a Lion!
This Lion was a fun one to do for two reasons. The first and most obvious one is that lions are super amazing animals. They are majestic creatures that are given respect by all the other animals in their environment. Even us humans don't go haphazardly running towards a pack of lions, all willy nilly like, expecting to cuddle and pet them. Hell no!
The second reason this tattoo was fun is because my client went from nervous, to sitting like a champ! Rib tattoos can be intimidating from what people tell you about their experience with getting them. I've personally heard some horror stories and seen some nightmares on ribs.
To give people as good of an experience as possible on the ribs is key to me. I approach the skin in a non aggressive way that doesn't traumatize it. Working with the skin as it opens up and allows more ink in is crucial for having clients sit longer on side tattoos. It doesn't have to be as bad as you might imagine!
